Baruch Weizman

August 2012-July 2013

Baruch is from Haifa. He has worked as a madrich in Bnei Akiva, and has performed other leadership roles, including being a camp logistical manager and leading a youth delegation to the Ukraine. He was a Commander in the 890th Paratrooper Brigade. He learnt in both Yeshivat Hesder Mitzpe Ramon and Yeshivat Birkat Moshe in Ma’ale Adumim.  

 

Eli Kopel

August 2012-July 2013

Eli is from Petach Tivka. He has worked in the Ezra Youth Movement, as well as performing leadership roles in various community service initiatives. He served in the Golani Brigade in the IDF and studied in Yeshivat Kiryat Shmona.

 

Itai Bloy

August 2012-July 2013

Itai is from Ramot in Jerusalem. He attended the Horev high school, and was a madrich in Bnei Akiva. He studied in the Shadmot Neria yeshiva and received a B.Ed. from Michlelet Herzog. In the IDF he served in the Golani Brigade.

 

Shilo Yogev

Shilo is from a Nechalim, a small town next to Petach Tikva. He studied in the Yeshiva Gevoha Itamar, after which he served in the prestigious Shaldag Unit. He was a madrich on Moriah College’s IST Program. He is the youngest of 6 brothers.

Binyamin Greenberg

August 2011-August 2012

Binyamin was born in Cambridge, UK. His family moved to the US, where he grew up, until he made aliya with his family in his mid-teens. He studied in the Horev Yeshiva High School, after which he studied in Yeshivat Har Etzion, where he was a madrich for the overseas students. He has played on an American Football team in Israel and has coached junior teams. He was a Commander in the Kfir Brigade in the IDF. He is currently studying in Hebrew University.

 

Ben Zion Ferziger

August 2011-August 2012 

Benzi is from Kfar Saba. He studied in the Netiv Meir Yeshiva High School. He was a madrich in Bnei Akiva running camps and guest speaker programs. He studied in Yeshivat Har Etzion, where he taught a Gemara class for overseas students, and also edited the yeshiva’s weekly publication. He was a Commander in the Kfir Brigade in the IDF. He is currently studying in Hebrew University.

Aaron Potek

Feb-April 2010

Aaron was born in Minnesota , United States. He attended college at the University of Michigan where he led various organizations which helped the local community.A special group in particular was created to deliver home-made chicken soup to sick Jewish students on campus. He is working towards receiving smicha followed by a job in education.

 

   

Joe Wolfson

Feb-April 2010

Joe was born in London, England. His background includes being  part of Bnei where he was Madrich at Sviva, Machane and in Israel where he studied in Yeshiva. He attended Cambridge University where he was an Education officer and then President of Cambridge University Jewish Society. Joe ran various Chaburot in the Gush,Israel and has taught in South Africa for Bnei Akiva. He plans to continue his studies as do a masters in Legal and Political Philosophy at UCL. He also loves to write, sometimes for publications or just for himself.

 

   

Eli Rapp

March-August 2010  

Eli was born in Toronto, Canada, and made aliyah with his family when he was a year old. He was raised in Yerushalayim, where he attended the Horev Yeshiva High School. Afterward, he learned in Yeshivat Hesder Shaalvim and served in the IDF’s Golani Brigade. Eli has four brothers, and his family owns several Yerushalayim pastry shops.  

 


 

Asher Gross

March-December 2010

Asher was born and raised in Raanana, Israel and attended the Mekor Chaim Yeshiva High School. He learned in Yeshivat Hesder Yerucham and served in the IDF’s Golani Brigade. Asher has five sisters.

 

 

 

David Pash

September 2010-August 2011

David was born in Jerusalem, Israel.  He grew up in Israel, as well as  in Russia, Brazil and Portugal on different shlichut. David graduated at Yeshiva High School- ‘Netivot Yosef’ and then went on to Yeshivat Har-Etzion, in which he served in the Hesder program in the Shimshon battalion (Infantry). David finished the program in 2010, and is currently in Sydney helping to run the Torah Mitzion Kollel at the Jewish Learning Centre. 

   

Dudi Mass

September 2010-August 2011

Dudi was born in Israel, Ramat Gan. He grew up in Israel and studied at Yeshiva Tichonit in Bnei Brak.Dudi also served in the army for a year and has also done volunteer work with disabled children. Dudi is also a passionate chess player.

Daniel Bollag

Feb-July 2011

Daniel was born in Zurich, Switzerland. His family moved to London England and he has lived there ever since. Daniel graduated from Hasmonean High School in London and went to Yeshiva Har Etzion. He plans to be studying Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College.Daniel has been a madrich on various camps and enjoys cycling and is a black belt in martial arts.


 

Avner Rosenthaler

September 2010-August 2011

Avner was born in Givataim, Israel. He grew up in Israel and studied in the Hesder Program through Yeshivat Har Etzion. He also served in the army for a year. Avner was also part of Bnei Akiva in Israel and loves learning one-on with a chavrusa
